Midland Center for the Arts Art Fair

Art fairs sponsored by the Midland Center for the Arts are held the first weekend in June and the third weekend of November.

Wherever you find our sales booth, you will find excellent hand-crafted textiles, reflecting the creative pursuits of our many talented members.  If you are looking for something unique, wearable, useful, and always beautiful, come find our booth!

 Chippewa Nature Center Craft Fair

An art fair sponsored by the Chippewa Nature Center is held the first Friday and Saturday of December.

Midland County Fair

Visit the guild on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during the Midland County Fair! Members will be working on projects and demonstrating a variety of fiber art techniques. You’ll find us just inside the main doors of the Gerstacker Building—questions are always welcome! 

Sheep to Shawl

As we have done for the past four or five years, the Midland Fiber Arts Guild is sponsoring a sheep to shawl at the Fall Harvest Festival, held on the 4th of October at the Chippewa Nature Center.  I am looking for spinners and helpers for the event, which is held from 10 to 4 pm.  If you can help for a few hours or all day, please contact me at either serhardt1@att.net or serhardt@msu.edu.  In addition to spinners, the last few years we have a several helpers who have helped with answering questions and fiber prep.  It is a great way to get the word out about our wonderful organization!  If you have questions, feel free to contact me and I'll try to answer them.
