Midland FiberArts Guild Minutes November 25,2025

Meeting was called to order by president pro tem Mary Brown.

Art Fairs at Chippewa Nature Center Dec 5-6 and Creative 360 Dec 6-7

Volunteers for fair set-up, sales and tear downs were organized. 

Mary Brown moved and Barb Stark seconded a motion to limit email correspondence to dues-paying and lifetime Guild members. After discussion a vote was called and the measure passed.

Motion by Mary Brown to make Judy Enger a lifetime member of MFAG. Suzanne seconded. Motion carried.

Members wished to consider establishing criteria for designation of “lifetime” membership. 

Motion to table until January meeting.

Barb Reeves will be assuming responsibility for Guild photo albums. 

Juanita suggested setting up an email account for the Guild under its own identity rather than using personal email addresses. Judy Enger moved to direct Corresponding secretary to set up this email account. Juanita seconded. Motion carried.

Next meeting is the annual Christmas party at the home of Janet Larner on Tuesday December 9, 2025 beginning at 11 am. Bring a dish to pass (no utensils needed) and a wrapped white elephant gift to exchange.
